Using the Influ2 MCP

Last updated: June 25, 2026

The Influ2 MCP connects your AI assistant directly to your Influ2 workspace, so you can ask questions and run common workflows in plain language — without clicking through the UI. Ask things like "who should I reach out to today?", "how is my Q2 program doing?", or "create a program for SaaS accounts over $10M" and get answers grounded in your live data.

What is the Influ2 MCP?

The Influ2 MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a secure connector that gives an AI assistant — like Claude — direct access to your Influ2 workspace. Instead of navigating menus to pull data or kick off a workflow, you describe what you need in plain language and the assistant handles it.

You refer to programs, people, and content by name. No IDs to copy around. The assistant resolves everything against your live workspace data.

What you can do with it

The MCP covers four core areas:

  1. Find people and accounts to act on. Search your audience, get full briefings on contacts or accounts, identify who's worth reaching out to today, and surface which accounts have been neglected.

  2. Check on programs. Pull up performance data for any program — audience size, reach, signal counts, ad delivery, and the full actions log. Great for quick check-ins or deeper audits.

  3. Review content. See which creatives are performing, check CTR and impressions, and find out which content is resonating with a specific account.

  4. Create and edit programs. Build new programs by describing your target audience in plain language (the assistant looks up your CRM fields and picklist values automatically). Edit existing programs to add audiences, adjust reach limits, or update action settings. Every change is previewed before anything commits.

Example prompts

Here are some real prompts to try:

  • Prioritization

    • "Who should I reach out to today?"

    • "What accounts are ready for outreach?"

    • "What's worth my attention right now?"

  • Program check-ins

    • "How is [Program Name] doing?"

    • "How many people have I reached this month?"

    • "Show me what actions have fired — flag any failures."

  • Account and contact briefings

    • "Pull up everything on [Contact Name] — I'm about to call them."

    • "How engaged is [Account Name]?"

    • "What content works best for [Account Name]?"

  • Creating programs

    • "Create a program for SaaS companies with annual revenue over $10M, using the same journey as Q2 Enterprise."

  • Content review

    • "What are my best performing creatives?"

    • "Who clicked on [Creative Name]?"

Applying changes safely

Most of what the MCP does is read-only — pulling data from your workspace and surfacing it in the conversation. The actions that make changes (creating a program, editing a program, uploading content) all follow a preview-before-commit pattern:

  1. The assistant builds a plan based on your request.

  2. You see a preview — audience size, what's changing, estimated reach and credits.

  3. You confirm before anything is created or modified.

Nothing is written to your workspace until you explicitly approve it.

Changes that can’t be executed with MCP

Some operations are intentionally UI-only. The MCP will tell you when something falls into this category, and it'll point you to the UI to complete it. Current UI-only operations include:

  • Replacing a program's journey

  • Removing audiences, stages, or actions from an existing program

  • Archiving a program

These restrictions are by design — they're the kinds of changes that are hard to reverse, so they stay in the Influ2 UI where you have full context.

Keep in mind: if you ask the assistant to make a change that falls outside these boundaries, it won't guess or partially apply it. It'll explain what's not supported and tell you where to go instead.
