Managing user roles

Influ2 has three user roles—Admin, Manager, and Viewer—each with different permissions. Assigning the right role to each team member ensures they have the access they need without exposing sensitive information.
Understanding user roles
Admin
Admins have full platform access, including user and billing management. Best for account owners and team leads.
Permissions:
Feed: View
Revenue: View, Export, Attribution Settings
Cohorts: View, Edit, Create
Content: View, Edit, Create
Sales Priorities: View, Filter, Download
Reports: View
Journeys: View, Edit, Create
Settings: Full access (Users, Integrations, Billing, Help)
Manager
Managers have all campaign and reporting capabilities, but no user or billing management. Ideal for marketing managers and campaign owners.
Permissions:
Feed: View
Revenue: View, Export, Attribution Settings
Cohorts: View, Edit, Create
Content: View, Edit, Create
Sales Priorities: View, Filter, Download
Reports: View
Journeys: View, Edit, Create
Settings: Users (View, Edit, Invite), Integrations (View only), Billing (View only), Help (View)
Viewer
Viewers have read-only access. Perfect for stakeholders, executives, or sales reps who need visibility but don't apply any changes.
Permissions:
Feed: View
Revenue: View, Export (no Attribution Settings access)
Cohorts: View only (cannot create or edit)
Content: View only (cannot upload or create)
Sales Priorities: View, Filter, Download
Reports: View
Journeys: View only
Settings: Integrations (View only), Billing (View only), Help (View)
Inviting team members
Send an invitation
Go to Settings > Users.
Click Invite Users.
Fill in:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email addressSelect their role: Admin, Manager, or Viewer.
Click Invite.
The invite is sent. The recipient will receive an email with a link to activate their account.
Track pending invites
Go to Settings > Invites to see:
- Who you've invited
- Their email address
- Current status (pending, accepted, etc.)
From here, you can also cancel invites if needed.
Cancel an invitation
Go to Settings > Invites.
Find the pending invitation.
Click Break link (or similar option).
The invitee will get an error if they try to accept the invitation.
Change a user's role
If someone's responsibilities change and they need a different access level:
Go to Settings > Users.
Find the user whose role you want to change.
Click the edit (pencil) icon next to their name.
Select their new role.
Save the change.
Role changes take effect the next time the user logs in. They won't see permission changes until they refresh or log out and back in.
