How does Influ2's tracking code record engagement time?

When the page loads, our tracking code starts sending signals that the user is active on the page every 5 seconds.

If the user has stopped doing anything and the page is still open, we are not incrementing engagement time until they start moving the mouse/scroll.

That inactivity time doesn't count towards engagement.

Please note that various browsers and devices sometimes won't let Javascript (JS) scripts perform accurately. This means JS scripts won't track engagement, and Influ2 cannot send you the data when this occurs. This opens the possibility of more engagements occurring that Influ2 can report.
